Crystal Cruises Again Named ‘Best Luxury Cruise Line’ By Travel Weekly Readers

2018 Travel Weekly Readers Choice Awards

MIAMI, December 17, 2018 – For the fourth consecutive year, the savvy readers of Travel Weekly have named Crystal Cruises the “Best Luxury Cruise Line” in the publication’s 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards. During an awards gala Thursday night in New York City, accolades were presented to the most celebrated travel companies in 78 categories including airlines, cruise lines, destinations, hotels, and resorts. Every category of the awards was voted on by Travel Weekly readers – thousands of travel professionals dedicated to knowing and offering the best travel experiences to their worldwide clientele.

Travel Weekly readers represent some of the industry’s most knowledgeable travel experts who are invaluable resources to their discerning clients around the world. We want to thank them for this award and entrusting their clients to us,” said Carmen Roig, Crystal’s senior vice president of marketing and sales.  “To again earn their acclaim in the luxury category is humbling as well as immensely rewarding to the thousands of Crystal employees and crew around the world.”

Crystal Cruises’ ocean-going global experiences continue to represent the heart of the long-celebrated travel innovator’s brand. The company has reaffirmed its investment in its two ships, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, as the two have both emerged from the most extensive dry dock redesigns in their respective histories within the past year. Throughout Crystal’s expansion to the rivers of Europe and the elite yachting harbors of the West Indies, Seychelles and Adriatic, the company has remained steadfast in its commitment to a flawless, seamless guest experience highlighted by personalized touches throughout.

“It is our ultimate goal to deliver the very best global travel experiences our guests can imagine, and then some,” Roig added. “We will continue to focus on offering travelers extraordinarily unforgettable moments aboard our ships and ashore, as the heart of the Crystal Experience is and will always be the personal connection guests feel the moment they step aboard a Crystal ship.”

Crystal also continues to celebrate its enduring relationship with the travel advisor community, offering travel pros a bevy of tools at their disposal to equip them to sell Crystal and grow their luxury business. Along with the day-to-day support of Crystal’s Strategic Business Development Managers across the country, travel advisors can also utilize Crystal’s Partner Resource Center and Travel Agent University, which are filled with resources including videos and webinars; sales and marketing kits; CruiseBuilder 2.0 and training modules as well as familiarization trips to keep up to date on the World of Crystal.

“We are incredibly grateful for the close relationships we enjoy with travel advisors and we are happy to do all that we can to ensure our continued success,” Roig said.
