New ‘Advance Purchase Savings’ Guarantee Crystal River Guests Best Available Fares for 2021

Crystal offers savings and flexibility for guests, immediate commissions and a $250 gift card for travel pros, as execs share their sentiments for National Travel Advisor Day

MIAMI, May 6, 2020 – As the travel industry observes National Travel Advisor Day, Crystal River Cruises is rewarding travel advisors with a new program that benefits them and their discerning clientele. The new Advance Purchase Savings program offers guests a non-refundable fare of $3,699 per person – representing a savings of up to 50 percent – for the best available suite at the time of booking. The program applies to 70 seven-night Crystal River voyages from March through December 2021 – 10 unique itineraries in all – along the Danube and Rhine rivers aboard Europe’s youngest river fleet . In addition to incredible savings, guests also have the flexibility to change their embarkation date to another applicable sailing with no penalty, should they choose to do so before December 31, 2020. Travel advisors will receive a $250 gift card for each booking and full commission payout once payment is received within seven days of booking.

Carmen Roig, Crystal’s senior vice president of marketing and sales, and Walter Littlejohn, Crystal River Cruises’ senior vice president and managing director, thanked travel advisors and shared their personal insights and sentiments for the travel advisor community in a video message  celebrating Travel Advisor Day as this new program launches.

“The travel advisor community is absolutely essential to the success we have enjoyed since Crystal began more than 30 years ago,” Carmen Roig, Crystal’s senior vice president of marketing and sales. “They are the most trusted resources for our guests who are dreaming of a luxury voyage, and their expertise and support means the world to us.”

“This new program is a wonderful opportunity to show our appreciation for our travel advisor partners by providing an immediate earning opportunity, while also providing another compelling tool for them to share the Crystal River Experience with significant savings and flexibility,” said Walter Littlejohn, Crystal River Cruises’ senior vice president and managing director. “We know that our guests are looking forward to traveling again and value the ability to plan their journeys with this added peace of mind.”

Applicable sailings for the new Best Available program include select “Romantic Rhine”, “Legendary Rhine”, “Delightful Danube”, “Danube Serenade”, “Tulips & Windmills”, “Christmas Time on the Rhine” and “Delightful Danube Christmas” itineraries. Advance Purchase Savings bookings are open on a first-come, first-served basis and are capacity-controlled.

Crystal’s new-build river vessels are Europe’s most spacious river ships, accommodating just 106 guests with an intentional focus on maximizing personal and public spaces throughout their 135-meter hulls (a size typically designed to accommodate twice the number of guests). The ships comprise Europe’s newest river cruise fleet and are the industry’s first and only all-balcony, all-suite, butler-serviced vessels in Europe, with every category of accommodation positioned above the water line.  All suites feature Panoramic Balcony-Windows™ and walk-in closets and dual vanity bathrooms are featured in most categories.

All of Crystal’s river ships feature private butler service in every room category, king-sized beds, Caudalie amenities, robes and slippers, and wall-mounted flat-screen HD TVs. Additional enticing features include farm-to-table cuisine in multiple, open-seating eateries: the elegant Waterside Restaurant, namesake Bistro cafés and the exclusive Vintage Room; and the Palm Court for entertainment, enrichment presentations and sweeping views of the countryside. Crystal’s attention to detail reaches ashore, as guests are transported on the days’ adventures in luxury motor coaches equipped with complimentary water and Wi-Fi for added convenience and comfort.
